The Name of God on the Cross
Do you know, that God showed his name on the cross? Isn't that surprising?
God revealed Jesus as his son on the cross by the inscription of his accusation. He showed the Jews even in the crucifixion of his son, that they crucified his son. The inscription on the cross showed his very name Jehovah in the form of an akronym. That was the reason, why the Jews wanted to change the title.
Jhn 19:19-22
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. The term Titulus Crucis is the translation of the Koine Greek word titlos (τίτλος) which means inscription. In the Church of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome is a walnut wood with inscription, which could have been a part of the original board.
